It's not just anti-gay CEOs who are Kryptonite!

For the techies among us, I thought this little announcement might provoke some glee:

Dropbox Sees Backlash to Condoleeza Rice Appointment

The lead paragraph from the story:

Dropbox today announced a rather noteable addition to its leadership team with the appointment of former Secretary of State Dr. Condoleeza Rice to its board of directors.

And then, the fascinating news:

An Internet backlash has since risen up in response to Rice's appointment.

The website Drop Dropbox is asking users to boycott the site for Rice's part in the the Bush Administration's policies, as well as her part in driving the case for war in Iraq.

Here's the line I really like:

"When a company quite literally has access to all of your data, ethics become more than a fun thought experiment."

Sometimes, I have to agree with conservatives:  the free market can be a wonderful place!
